To the average Joe, when you ask him or her what a Sony PSP (Sony Playstation Portable) is, they will tell you it a handheld video game console. The average person has no idea what all you can do with a Sony PSP. It’s not just a fancy Gameboy! It does a whole lot more than just play video games. Let me explain.

Gaming- video games The Sony PSP has over 350 game titles and more coming all the time. They are constantly adding titles all the time. You can get all the hottest titles of all your favorite games. Plus, one thing I absolutely love about the PSP is you can download emulators and play all you favorite games from the past. Super Mario Brothers, Sonic, Castlevania, Punch Out, Street Fighter, just to name a few of my favorites. So even if you only used it for video games it is fun little device to have. But that’s not what this article is about. I want to talk about all the other cool stuff you can do with a PSP.

Video- More than 460 feature films, TV programs and music videos available on UMD disc (each sold separately). If you travel a lot like me, and you do get sick of playing video games all the time, you need a chance to just sit back, relax and watch a movie on the airplane. The PSP is perfect for this. The screen is just the right size to watch movies while you travel.

Music- The PSP also plays music file of all the top formats including MP3s, WAVs, WMAs, ATRAC3+ and MP4s Not quite as compact as an Ipod, if that’s what you would really use it for, but a very handy feature to have. But I’ll bet most people didn’t know you could use the PSP as an MP3 player.

Photo- Another nice little feature of the PSP is the ability to create a slide show of your photos. If you have kids like me and you want to show grandma the latest pictures of the kids, you can do like I do and always keep the most recent photo’s on my PSP to show them off. You can even beam them to other devices via Wi-Fi.

Network- I know this relates to playing games, but most people don’t realize that you can communicate with other PSP systems and play games online. Not only that, but you can browse the internet right from your PSP.

As you can see the Sony PSP is so much more than a little video game player, it really has become the best device, that fits in the palm of your hands, for all your entertainment needs. Another thing I have to mention that is fairly new, is that there are more and more websites offering PSP downloads. Now you don’t even need to leave your house to get the games, movies, and music. You can get everything you need from a click of a mouse.

On of the favorite games for the game cube is Mario Power Tennis. It is great for all the sport lovers and game lovers in the world. It all began years ago with Pac Man, Mario Brothers and the list goes on and on. The game world has come a long way since the days of Pac Man and Ms. Pac Man. There are adventure games, sports, racing, karate or ninjas, and many more. There are games to please everyone.

Today’s games are looking more like reality than ever before. Mario Power Tennis is however just a game for fun so they are still more like the basic Marios. Some people like the reality games but they are also scary when it comes to your kids knowing how to distinguish the difference between a game and reality. Much like some television shows and movies, there are some games that children should not be able to play.

Some of the games can mess up a child’s mind. Parents should control what games their children play. Mario Power Tennis for Game Cube would be a fun and safe game for them to play. The characters are fun and very distinguishable from reality.

Some of the more reality killing games are hard to deal with because they even look real like adults. There is enough killing and crimes without playing the games and killing others. We are at war and killing is a reality so we do not need games with people killing other people in them. It isn’t near as bad if we are slaying a dragon. The games today are so realistic, they include blood and everything to make it look like it happened right on the street. It is bad enough to make even some grownups have nightmares so we can only guess as to how it is affecting our kids. Thanks to games like Mario Power Tennis, there is still hope for the world.

There are many testimonials of game players who are very pleased with the Mario Power Tennis game and claim that it is a lot of fun and very up to date in their maneuvers and plays. The power shots like the slice, topspin, drop, flat, and lob are all included, and different positions are an added plus to the game as compared to the basic game.

The game is exciting to play if you are a tennis player and even if you aren’t. The game can be great fun especially with multi players. But for the single players, they can still challenge Mario, Luigi, Peach, and the gang. Mario Power Tennis may just be the favored tennis game of all time. Some may not agree about Mario games and other not so realistic games but they are some recommended games for children and adults who do not want to see all of the blood and hear all of the foul language.

Brothers, however, often go the other way. They keep everything to themselves in hopes of out-smarting their brother, in one form or another.

There is, however, a segment of brothers that don’t keep secrets from one another. They work together in a common goal oriented way. They want to strive and win at whatever they may see as their end. A “Band of Brothers” if you will. These brothers do not need to be linked by family but by common desire to achieve. Women may talk to socialize but brothers talk to succeed.

A connection

Often one will see a business name like Jonson & Sons, Brooks Brothers, Brother Printer or Super Mario Brothers. Although there often is a brother, there isn’t really a need. This is a connection toward a common goal between men and/or family. The use of the word “brother” by black men in the 1960’s and ‘70’s might be an example. The word represents a group of men working against a racially unjust society.

Success and winning

When all is said and done it comes down to winning. If you need help, as men are not likely to admit to needing, they can more easily call on their “brother” to help them win. There may or may not be a brother in the Brother Printer company but the mere association implies that there is a team in place to make a better printer and win at the game of selling more printers.

The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus is often billed as “The Greatest Show on Earth.” There may or may not have been brothers involved but taking a look at the slogan does give an idea of the goal involved. Be the biggest and best. Brother Printers may or may not be brothers or have a snappy slogan like “The Greatest Show on Earth” but the aim is the same. Men (and women) banding together, if in name only, to win.

Being the best

Men are often chided for not showing their emotions. Teaming up as “brother” is a way to show that they are actually capable of showing the emotion women expect but do not see. Men team up and share emotion by becoming brothers whether it is Brooks Brothers, Marx Brothers or Brother Printers.
