It’s no secret that online video is becoming very huge these days, it’s becoming easier and easier to post video all over the web.

But this one question still remains? Does it actually work?

I’m talking about, will it increase your sales and conversion? Well I did a few test and I’m about to tell you what I found.

To me it’s fun when I do a test and the test results in increased conversions on my landing pages.

It’s almost like playing nintendo when I was little. I used to love mario brothers when you collect the coins and it makes that cha-ching sound. Ahh those were the days.

But these days when I increase my conversions my bank account goes cha ching and it’s real money! It’s the most joyous part of my day, almost anyway.

It’s a great feeling when you try something new to improve your marketing and more people end  up taking action as a result of it.

I usually get 10, 30 and sometimes even 60% increases when I do standard test on my landing pages.

If for every 100 people who come through your website you can get just 1 more to buy or request information, that’s definitely something to get excited about.

So this is what I found when putting video on your site. You get over a 200% increase! Well this is what my results were and there’s no reason why you should see simular results.

I just added a simple little video clip to my squeeze page, a page where I get people to submit their name and email to request more information about what I have to offer.

So that means I have more people opting in to learn more, all for free, no extra adspend or marketing cost.

This is really powerful for a number of reasons.

1. I have more people in my marketing funnel, more leads, people that see what I have to offer. Meaning sales just tripled.

2. The video didn’t even contain any salesy information in it. Just a simple video telling them what there in for and how the information will benefit them.

3. Videos have repeatedly proven to explode sales online, but I wasn’t expecting much from this one.

So I was trying to figure out why this happened, so I dug a little bit deeper and this is what I found.

- People prefer consumin information through video than they do by reading it, plus, we also learn better when we use multiple senses instead of just one.

- Videos add a personal element to the webpage. Giving it a more personal touch. It makes it more easier for people to believe there’s a real person behind it all.

- It adds trust, credibility and believability to the offer. Which are all major issues on the internet - especially in the network marketing industry.

Amazing right?

Well to end this, I might as well tell you the software I used to create this video. I used a software tool called “camtasia” it’s a screen capture software and you use to capture video right from your desktop.

You can also use it for training purposes to teach people certain things.

Well there you have it! Video = More Money

How to Have Fun Playing Online Games

Gen Wright asked:

al games, played offline, have been a major source of entertainment for millions of people all over the world. Everyone must have some memory of the good old days where cartridge games, plugged into the TV set, provide hours and hours of entertainment in the family.

But the problem with traditional games is that the social experience is still limited. One can only share the gaming experience with so many people when the game set has to be in the house. But gaming isn’t an isolated experience. People want to share and talk about the games they play. They want to have a social experience. So someone invented game rooms, where people can come together to buy and play games. Gamers are even willing to pay by the hour to play a game with friends even though they own the game at home.

Today, that’s a thing of the past. With the Internet, everyone can play and share their gaming experiences with anyone. They can play the game from the comfort of their own home in their web browser, and interact without someone half way across the globe. Talk about the power of technology.

But that’s not all. To make the online gaming world a more exciting place, some people have invented a way to transform traditional games into an online format, and allow web users to play the game on the Internet. Yes, we’re talking about all time favorites like Super Mario Brothers, Punch Out, Tetris, Puzzle Bubble, and many other popular games. It’s no surprise why so many young people love the Internet. They can now play their favorite games to their heart’s content without having to folk out money for costly game stations or cartridges.

And the possibility of being able to interact with their friends online just makes the whole gaming experience so much more attractive. I mean we’re talking about a major paradigm shift here. Most gamers are turning to the Internet to satisfy their gaming appetite. There’s just so much more that can be done on the Internet that cannot be done using traditional mediums. Even modern game consoles are integrating the Internet into their hardware and software.

This means that the whole gaming industry has taken on a whole new direction. Due to ease of purchase on the Internet, whole new business models have sprung up. Selling of merchandise, virtual credits, characters, gaming accounts have sprung up. All these activities are unheard of before the Internet.

The best part about gaming on the Internet is that if you don’t have the cash, you can always play for free. There are thousands and thousands of free games on the Internet that doesn’t require a purchase. Some websites do not even require user registration and you can start playing right away. So surf smart, play smart, and most importantly, have fun!
